Our chapter at Texas A&M (Xi Delta) has over 400 members with 150-180 pledges
usually. as for officers:
President
VP Administration: appoints Sargeant at Arms, Fundraising chairs, publicity
chairs, etc..
VP Projects: Service Committee, all project chairs
VP Membership: Active Advisory Committee,Intramurals
chairs,Sunshine,newsletter chairs, etc..
Pledge Masters: all Pledge Trainers, Big Bro/Little Bro chair
Fellowship
Treasurer
Advisor Coordinator
Alumni Secretary
Secretary
Property Room Manager
With everyone falling under a coresponding VP. All of the officers are elected
and are on the exec committee which is a god send. Exec meetings allow you to
take care of the little things that the entire chapter doesn't really need to
be bothered with. Also, there is a great deal of idea sharing. If anything
that needs to be discussed comes up, we can try to talk our way through it,
make some points, and hopefully come to a general agreement before it is brough
t to the chapter. Scheduling would also be impossible without a time when only
the execs could sit down and talk.
We don't really have any rush chairs. All aspects of the pledge program are
left to the Pledge Masters, which fall under the VPM, but are pretty much given
free reign.
Hope this helps!
John Lyon
Vice President of Projects
Xi Delta
