Jeremy,
I would like to thank you for you eloquent post. THat is exactly what I was
trying to stress a while back

  Jeremy wrote -------
I believe we should look for some compromises on our Toast Song
issue, and I believe the "third verse" proposal is that
compromise. The "True to" proposal will alter our history by
re-wording our original Toast Song. The "Third verse" will ADD
to our history, and keep the first 2 verses intact, for future
generations to sing. It will also enhance our 1976 transition
from all-male to co-ed by reflecting that transition in the 3rd
verse. We made a decision in 1976 in our Bylaws to go co-ed.
Now it is time for our song and other texts to catch up with that
decision. As the saying goes, "in for a Penny, in for a Pound."

Also, the third verse states that ALL members - male and females ARE BROTHERS!!!

Personally, I don't want a change, but if it must be done, FOR the GOOD of
ALPHA PHI OMEGA< then a 3rd verse is in order.
