I didn't want to include all that stuff because I didn't want to bore anyone.
I just thought I should say that one of the main reasons that I decided to
pledge this semester was because APO did _NOT_ do what most of the other social
frats/sororities on our campus do. Personally I find it very demeaning to have
to do things like dress the same way as all pledges, run personal errands for
the brothers, etc. While I realize that I am not completely "equal" to the
brothers yet (in terms of knowledge of the fraternity) I like to be treated
as an equal. This is what I found attractive about APO. Personally I think
that the hazing policy (of our chapter at least) is a good one to have, and
that most Frats/sororities would probably do better to adopt one of their own.
