Here at Alpha Gamma Chi, we have a local photographer do our composite, and
she does a great job. She charges approx $15 per person, and for that we
each get an 11x14, plus a huge one for the chapter.
If someone doesn't want to purchase the composite, I think there is only
a nominal sitting fee, which the chapter would pick up. Of course, since
the chapter has now over $1,000 in the bank, I guess we can afford to :-)
My suggestion: try negotiating for a lower price, shop around locally for
a photographer who can do composites, and/or consider an additional dollar or
two per member each year for a "composites fund".
