Brothers,
        I find I agree a lot with Brother Wallace on this (Gee, and we're
from the same chapter....go figure). People are raving about how changing
the Toast Song will rewrite history, how about removing almost every
mention to the BSA? We WERE founded to be a fraternity that teaches that
the Scout Oath and Law is the code for all humanity to live by, and now
it's not even going to be in the Purpose anymore? No, we don't require
previous Scouting experience for membership anymore, but you can't deny
that is, for a large part, what we're all about. Remember Frank Reed
Horton's "standard of manhood that would withstand the test of time" ?
He's referring to the Scout Oath and Law. How is it supposed to withstand
the test of time if we don't even mention it anymore? Does anybody even care?

Oh well, just my $ .02 on the subject.
