My active chapter was Kappa at Carnegie Mellon. When I pledged
it was at about 2% of the undergraduates of the school. The main reason
for this was an Insane pledgemaster. :)
The two semesters he was Pledgemaster (or was it membership VP?) he
got permission from the professors of the main freshman English, Calculus
and Chemistry classes to do a 5 minute quickie presentation at the beginning of
one of their classes....
Also, make sure that the brothers (and sisters) of the social greeks
know that they can pledge APO as well. (though pledging both a social
and APO in the same semester is not a good thing.)
