Hmmm...well here's an idea that went over really well at ABX one semester. We
are a hockey college, so you could possibly adapt it to other sports.
We found somewhat cheap printed ribbons and had them made up (white with red
ink) with our mascot and school name. We sold them during hockey games for
$1 each, and people we gaga over them. If we had supplied pins with them we
might have gotten more. ;)
Next we ordered buttons with almost the same design (the catalouge had a huge
selestion) and sold them. We went to the college store to make sure we didn't
order anyting that they had. These if I remeber sold out. We sold them around
the booth on campus when the tickets were being sold too.
