Nah, Jeff... Keep it up. I seriously value the conversations we have =
about
the state of the institute. It's like reading a not-too-ancient history
book... it helps one gain perspective on the present.
To answer your question about why you care about this stuff... MIT is in
your history and you were part of MIT's history - this is not only MIT's
reputation on the line, but yours as well. Plus, you can still give =
back to
this place and believe it or not, we value what you have to give. Thank =
you
for everything did and continue to do for us.
So... Get a job & stop being a poseur. And... Keep coming over to =
Simmons
to visit once in a while... but yeah... focus on your future too a =
bit.
Not to sound too slap-you-back-into-shape-ish,

Welcome back, Victoria!
I think the time has finally come to change the name of this list to
crusty-talk@mit.edu. Seriously. Why do we all still care about this
shit? It's not like alums at other schools still yammer on years after
they graduate about what's best for their undergrads.

P.S. Victoria, you need to come check out the new all-MIT-affiliates =
house
I'm living in in Cambridgeport. Yeah, we've started another one.
