I'm really impressed how this list came alive again, I think it's a
great forum for discussion and I'm glad to see a lot of fellow
undergrads on here.
Anyways, I just wanted to make people aware that the W20 5th floor
Reading Room renovation project is still alive and well and at a CAC
Advisory Board meeting last week a representative from an architecture
firm gave a presentation on the proposed solution. Though some small
changes and tweaks are certainly possible, I think the plan is pretty
firm. I'm planning on having a short discussion on the topic at this
week's upcoming UA Senate Meeting, so if you're interested please feel
free to come on by. The Meeting will be on Tuesday, Oct 25th in W20-401
at 8pm.

No, I don't; you've got a point. It's also interesting to note that even
the Tech reporter that wrote the article is listed in the MIT Directory as
a grad student! Perhaps if we want to find out about these kinds of
things before they get published in The Tech, we should get some
undergrads to infiltrate the GSC. I'm not sure whether I'm being serious
here or not.

I think we differ on how we're interpreting the article, which I agree is
ambiguous. At any rate, now seems like a pretty good time to get ungrads
involved, even in the worst-case-scenario interpretation of the article.
