That's slightly inaccurate. The original mural was also a hack of
sorts, I am told. It and the other mural in the Infinite were put up
overnight by students in the 70s. I've been trying to find
documentation for that. There have been two hacks on top of the hack:
the $10k bill and the Hockfield bill.
