Hi.
has anybody compiled Kerberos 1.2.2 under Solaris 8 ?
The install guide says that solaris 2.0-2.3 has a broken gethostbyname()
and that it has been fixed in 2.4 et above.
However I get
# /configure --with-cc=gcc --enable-shared
# gmake 2>&1 1>& make.log &
# gmake check
....

You may have to reconfigure the kerberos distribution to select a
different set of libraries using --with-netlib[=libs]
