Hence, it's only the KDC-side code that we need to worry about, and the
only KDC-side code which might possibly need getpwent() would be
kadmind, if it wanted to do smart password-quality checking.
I haven't been following this thread so I don't really understand the
details. I am merely writing to add these following two possibly but
probably not relevant pieces of information:
(1) I do not think kadmind calls getpwent, although I could be wrong.
(2) kadmin does sometimes call getpwent, during its process of
figuring out the admin principal.
Feel free to ignore me if this is irrelevant. :-)
