criminals and pedophiles can eavesdrop also.  My daughter is grown, now, but if 
she were still a pre-teen, I'd want her using PGP for all mail with friends 
(both for privacy and authentication).

My friends who are undercover drug cops in Boston (Dorchester, if you know 
Boston), assured me they never run into crypto -- just need not to be 
out-gunned by the druggies.  That's their big concern.  Next after that comes 
computers for writing reports.  The drug dealers have better computers, too, 
not just better guns, more cellular phones, ....
