WILL GATES GET SERIOUS?

I, for one would like know how far Microsoft and Bill Gates are to go to
oppose these nonsensical attempts to control strong cryptography.
I know that he is a member of, and has appeared in Washington with, his
fellow members of the Business Software Alliance. But is there any
indication that he is willing to get involved this fight in a more personal way?
Many have decidedly mixed feeling about Gates, but the fact is that he the
major player in this industry that these illiterates in Congress might pay
real attention to he started to get serious about this issue. Any comments?
