This has been in the works for some time, with periodic
announcements in the press. NY Times and WSJ
report on the public's response today (at least in the
paper copies).
The test area is my squat and the cards are being
handed out on the sidewalks for free, with a $5
loaded. Most spooked people wave them off, thinking
they're three-card monte (and may prove to be).
I'll be getting a couple to pass on to experts in
tamper-resistant devices for testing. Anyone want
one send me an e-mail with snail address and I'll
fill all requests till the freebies run out.
