FROM THE MODERATOR:

A large amount of controversy seems to have popped up because of the
messages I forwarded from Ed Gerck. I'd rather not have a flame war
start here, so I am going to forward, without comment, two last
messages on the topic, one a further explanation from Mr. Gerck (which
I consider inadequate to determine if his process is a legitimate
cryptographic system or not -- its certainly evasive) and one more
from Jeff Barber that is somewhat over the line of flaming but which
I'm allowing through because he was accused of being in favor of HP's
ICF and deserves a chance to defend himself.

If Mr. Gerck submits any messages that contain an explanation of
"Holocomm" that, in my opinion, contains information sufficient for
an independent third party to attempt to build such a system (which is
what one needs in order to evaluate the stated claims), I will allow
it through. Otherwise, I'm halting this discussion for the moment.

Perry
