First, a useful AES web page:

The new entries that are up now that look most interesting are MARS,
which is IBM's entry (and which includes some heavy hitters as
designers, including Don Coppersmith), and CAST-256 from the usual
suspects at Nortel.

I don't want to slight the other new entries that have shown up --
these are just the ones that caught my eye.
