I think your argument is MOOT... Not only has the leadership of this
fraternity slammed your idea for monetary reason that will be difficult
to impossible to improve, but you have one factor that can not be
overcome. Brothers likes this time because it is the one time of year that
nearly every (if not every) school is out of session. It was mentioned
previously that no other conferences are held at this time.... gee,
perhaps it is an bad time to have a conference - an opinion that appears
to be in the minority.
As for your comments about what is stupid and have not, driving can save
SUBSTANTIAL amounts of money. Especially when the conference is not held
over a Saturday and it is in the middle of black-out period. It also
provides an opportunity for some serious brotherhood bonding :-)
Good luck with getting your ideas through that silent majority that
aren't on APO-L. As for APO-L, your don't appear to have the support.
