Looks like the group here at OkState may get approimately $600 (no where
near confirmed) to attend Regionals from an SGA Senate that is VERY
stingy nowadays. Senate voted yesterday (passed by one vote) to allocate
money to the Engineering Student Council which upset many in the senate
who adamently spoke against the measure... In retaliation (ok, whatever)
the budget committee has decided to allocated all remaining funds to
groups that have asked for it (like us!). Personally, I think they
should have had this attitude from the beginning, but... In this case,
the "end" certainly matters more than reasons for it. Hope it passes! I
have 4+ years of SGA experience (3 1/2 as senator) and I'll never
understand how it work :-)
By the way, anyway interested in sending mail to everyone at Oklahoma
