While I personally disagree with the idea of having a National Service
hour requirement of 20 hours due to the already mentioned reasons, my
chapter would not have a problem with this as we already require 25 hours
per quarter, which most brothers make without a problem. At one point,
we even required 40 hours per quarter and had no problems. Overall, I
think the requirement should be left to individual chapters as many
problems will arise if one is mandated nationally.
