I'm not syaing that's a valid point, but I wonder what good we are serving
the fraternity, when the brothers fail to remember what the meaning of
those symbols are.
Someone mentioned the idea of coming up with a way to remind actives of
their meanings afterweards. That could be one option, but I think we need
to make sure we keep the meanings of the smbols in the forefront of our
minds. Unfortunately though it is difficult to address the issues of
symbolism in chapter or in the newsletters when you have pledges around
that you're not supposed to let know what they mean yet.
