Hello:

I have in the past posted about minimum GPAs. I believe that it is up to
4 of my 5 Chapters have their school already regulate that to be active
in any club or student organization a student must carry at least a 2.0
(GPA). (Now there are schools around the country that do not have GPA.
We understand that, a similar system would need to be employed.) Also I
know that 2 of the 5 schools in my section require minimum credits before
anyone can pledge anything. ESU = 12 credits earned at ESU and Moravian
College as well has a similar number.

From a student affairs perspective as this is my career, I cannot condone
a student with less than a 2.0 GPA being active. Their first priority
schould be to achieve a satisfactory GPA. I would say let them be
associative, but they should not be required to fulfill active
requirements let alone be an office. I have seen a couple of students be
presidents this semester and out of school the next.
