How many chapters were in Arizona when the convention got started?
one. How many when they were done? 3. The chair was from where? which
is a how many hour drive?

Actually for 2000, which is the turn of the millenium, I'd prefer NOT to
be in a big site, and pay a fortune to fight HUGE crowds.

when coupled with there regular guests and the Texas Longhorn Band. Basically
we need 800 hotel rooms from what I've been told. I'd much rather see us fill
a small hotel to the gills, than take a share of a large one.

Having been to three nationals now, I'd say the alumni participation
is going up steadily. I see no reason due to a number changing from a
1 to a 2 that it's going to go up a considerable portion. Now Brother
Schroeder's 75th anniverssary committee could seriously increase
participation...

My uninformed opinion is that your going to see one bid per region that's
eligable. Here's my guesses...

I: (there's at least talk of two bids here)
II: Philadelphia
III: Charlotte or Norfolk
IV: (only South Carolina is eligable)
V: Pittsburgh
