Hellooooo, Brothers Far and Wide:

Din' I tell you I was gonna be at Convention?? DIN' I? (smile) Aren't they a blast? And I met nearly all the people that has e-mailed me in the past via this news network. like Neal Farmer, Sharon Zohar, Fuzz Hochstedler, etc, etc. Damn, am I a celebrity or what? And whoever said that Pat Burke sounds tall over the phone was right--'cause he ain't that much taller than me (I'm 5 ft. 5 in.). I would like to thank the bros from AE chapter @ Louisiana State for letting me (and Kali Diggs) hang with them during convention--and chat w/them in my room till 3 a.m. If you can pass this message to one of them, please do--I can't remember the "formation" of their email addresses (Name@lsu.tiger.edu)? Anyway, I was very happy with the resolution of the Gentlemens Agreement. While it is still in limbo as far as solving the matter goes, it allows the '98 Convention delegates a chance to have something more concrete to vote on rather than just pure emotion being a deciding !
factor.
As for the Toast Song, I am also very happy to see it intact (Do NOT email me responding the previous comment, as it will not be acknowledged or read--BTW, as a courtesy for us a little weary of hearing the TS debate go on at about this time EVERY year; because nothing can be done to alter or modify the song for the next 722 days, give or take a day, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you absolutely MUST have a TS debate, can you keep it down to a *very* dull roar, as it works up emotions and not much else cause every pro & con known to man has been discussed over & over again. Thanx a lot).

But I have had fun in Phoenix and I am trying to accept the fact that Con '98 will be in Mini-APOlis--I'm a Chi Town man, and whoever hung the "Shhh, We're Dreaming of Visiting Minneapolis-St. Paul in 1998" sign on Rm. 601's door, its gonna be one-on-one, toe-to-toe (smile). As for the actual statement on the sign, I have only one word to say: S**t!!!

Anyhow, I gotta go.

Peace.
