The more I read the various responses I've gotten to my post about
problems with other brothers in my chapter, the more I realize the mistake
I made in the way I handled this problem. I think I did overreact a bit
and I don't think I really explained things too well. The problem itself
is what caused me to do this. Since I feel like those brothers don't want
to hear what I have to say, I guess I felt like talking to someone else
first to get an idea of what to say to those brothers so they would maybe
listen to me. I guess I didn't really go about this the right way and
this is not really something that should've been posted on a National (or
International) forum. I did make sure to not mention anyone's names, so
noone on here really knows who I had problems with, but despite the
attempt to make it more of an anonymous problem, I still did not go about
this the right way.
I apologize for the way in which I hadled this problem. Being the kind
of person I am, I have a much easier time explaining things on a computer
than trying to solve problems face to face. I'll just have to force
myself to ignore that problem and face the brothers in question. For all
I know, they might not know that there is any problem.
I also want to thank everyone who tried their best to help me with this
problem despite how I handled it. Though a couple of you had some rather
harsh tones, most of the responses were quite helpful. Hopefully this
problem will be resolved at the chapter meeting tonight (if I can figure
out exactly what to say...). YiLFS,
-Martin
