Hello, Brothers:
Today was a good day here in Columbus, Ohio, USA, and Rho Theta Chapter is on the move. Why am I so happy? Because I realized that what has happened between me and "Charles" (see my latest posting) has had a rather trivial effect on the other bros as far as interaction between us is concerned, i.e. few, if any bros, had anything to say to me as far as that went, so I think. As a matter of fact, as far as Charles and his attitude in general goes, it's relieving to see I'm not alone in my disgruntal. Quite a few other bros are rather annoyed by his, shall we say, maturity lag. Now lemme say first of all that I have tried on many occasions, tried to follow the 2nd cardinal principle when it came to interaction with him, only to realize that if my views or decisions do not agree with his, he coldly withdraws from the conversation and sulks in his own little shell. Case in point: last night I saw him walking by, and said, "Hey, Charles", he completely ignored me and!
kept on walking. Now many of you
may ha
ve justifications for why that happened, but frankly, I'm not that naive. Anyway, the majority of the chapter sees me no differently from before, which was what scared me, s**tless to be honest. So no, I'm not brother bashing, but rather, pointing out factors leading to the Tuesday night incident, and I am airing this in public because the private attempts have consistently proved inconclusive. But AFAIC, he is still a bro of mine even if he does not see me as one. Brother Charles Mazda (you know who you are and I know you are reading this), if you keep pushing bros out of your life, you're gonna wind up not having any to push out. Or, in the words of Bill Cosby, "You can't have BRothers without OTHERS." 'Nuff said.
Now for some good news. We have added three new bros to the kut. W/o further ado, Rho Theta proudly presents...
