Bros,

You know the scenario ... you spend a week-end at sectionals hangin' and chillin' with your brothers, you party down and have a great time, and then you head home with some cool memories ... and then it hits ...

     Post sectionals depression. :(

Well, Upsilon Eta chapter (a.k.a. APhiO-UTEP) would like to invite you, particularly if you're not TOO far away from us here in EL Paso, to join us for a good time at the ballpark on Saturday, April 12th. We'll be hosting "APhiO Invades Cohen Stadium."

Basically, if you come out to the park with us, we have the following agenda set up:

          beforehand --- Pre-fellowship fellowship (TM) :)
4:45PM to 6:45PM --- ALL YOU CAN EAT ballpark food at the Hard Ball Cafe
6:45PM til it's over --- EL Paso Diablos vs. Midland Angels
afterward --- general fellowship spillover (TM) :)

Cool bonuses: this particular night is "Mascot Mania Night," which should be entertaining. Also, I believe at some point during the game APhiO will be announced and perhaps spoken briefly about on the PA/scoreboard. Not sure on that one.

The price for admission is $6.50 for brothers (including the food, what a deal!) and $13 for guests. This is because we'll basically pick up half the tab for brothers, assuming of course that we don't get 100 of them (we're not exactly rich at this early stage of our existence).

We have to get the tickets a few days in advance, so if you're interested, please let us know ahead of time (by the 9th at the very latest) how many of you are coming (if you can send money ahead of yourselves, that would be mondo cool). Write me or our chapter president Jennifer Bishop (jmbishop@utep.edu) to express your interest, and we'll make all necessary arrangements over the phone.

We hope to see a lot of you there. Keep that torch burning...
