I can understand where they are coming from, Alpha Phi omega is
different. And unlike the social greeks it IS possible for someone to
have to choose between teams. (being in both KKG and APO for example).

What I have heard of is APO either helping judge or entirely running the
greek week competitioings. My active chapter for example ushered Greek
Sing and did the timing and such for "buggy" which iis one of the other
large scale greek competitioins at Carnegie-mellon.

Not sure if this helps, but it gives you some expereinces from out there....
