a few points of fact:
* Brother Correll was not the only name on the resolution (in question),
and I think credit (or blame) should be passed around to all.
* There were *two* resolutions in Phoenix, one in the positive and one
in the negative. One to honor the gentleman's agreement, and one to
abrogate it.
* There was also another resolution along the same lines submitted by
Brother Tomusiak, which got far less press than the resolutions that
came out of Region III.
The point of those two resolutions, so far as I can tell is to force
the fraternity to solve an issue that's been festering for at a minimum
twenty five years. (consider that 25 years ago I was not born, and I'm
three years an alumni, AND in my fourth term as a Section Chair) I say
it's time we put the Gentleman's Agreement on Paper for all time. I'm
not in favor of anything that looses us good chapters and that
breaks our word. Your word is your bond in a brotherhood.
Je me souviens!

too!)
