Here at Alpha Gamma Eta usually have to to a second to think about which
one we are talking about, they we usually say the wrong one. Vivs that was
the first time I've heard induction referring to becoming a pledge and it
making sense. inducted into pledgeship, but most wont think of that. when
I first heard induction all I could think of was, was the hall of fame.
you are inducted and you are part of it forever. when inducted in APO, for
whatever reason you may choose not to finish pledging, thus you never
become an official part of the group. on the flip side when I think of
initiation I think of orientation at school a kind of here is a trial run
and here's all the info you are going to need to survive and do well
here. unofficially we just call them the pledge ceremony and the
brotherhood ceremony.
that is just where I'm coming from on that issue
