Given the Following:
1) You are a member of a chapter that is all male, all white, all female,
all black, all former scouts, all non-scouts, or whatever.
2) The University your chapter is at is not any of the above things.
3) You want to encourage greater diversity in your membership. How do you
encourage this in a positive manner.
I have seen this situation in a number of chapters where the then current
membership would like to promote diversity but is a loss at how to make the
chapter a more inviting place for potential members who may feel
uncomfortable being the only female, black, male, black, non-scout, scout,
or not-whatever at their first chapter meeting.
