I am here to inform anyone who is interested that plans are in the
works to charter a plane to Nationals. Think about it. Being on a plane
that is full of entirely of brothers! It has been done in the past, and I
am sure those that have done it will tell you how much a blast it is. And
besides it is one last thing you have to plan.
The plane will leave somewhere in the Philadelphia, Baltimore,
Atlantic City, New York City, Harrisburg, Binghamton, Allentown area. The
cheapest departure point is Atlantic City. Depending on the interest, the
idea then would be to set up meeting points at the above other locations
and charter a bus to take those gathering at those points to AC.
I have been told that somewhere between 100 - 120 people would be
needed in order to make it worth the price per ticket.
What I am looking for is estimate numbers of numbers, location
perferred for each individual, and chapter name. By getting back to me it
in no way commits you to anything. But the response will determine whether
more work will be done to move forward on the deal.
So please talk this up with you chapter (keep in mind that even if
your chapter is not in the area, one of your brothers might live there),
and then get back to me ASAP.
Oscar
P.S. Could some please get me the email or other contact information for
the Section 99 Chair, the Region II newsleter editor, and Craig Muckle
(hopefully spelled correctly), Region II's alumni representative. {sorry
Craig, I lost the info you gave me}
